Who We Are

IKUNIX LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a company registered at 2 Endeavour House, Longbridge Road, PL6 8LR, Plymouth, UK. We are the data controller for the purposes of this Privacy Policy.

If you have any questions about how we handle your data, you can contact us at:

What Data We Collect

We are committed to collecting as little data as possible. This website is purely informational — there are no account registrations, contact forms, or newsletter signups.

Analytics Data (Umami)

We use Umami, a privacy-focused, open-source analytics tool, to understand how visitors use our website. Umami is cookieless and does not collect or store any personally identifiable information.

The data Umami collects is fully anonymised and includes:

  • Pages visited and time of visit
  • Referring website or source
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Device type (desktop, tablet, mobile)
  • Country of origin (derived from anonymised IP — the full IP address is never stored)

This data cannot be used to identify you as an individual. No cookies are placed on your device.

Umami Cloud stores data on servers located in the US and EU, in compliance with GDPR and CCPA regulations. Data is retained for 6 months.

Our website includes tel: and mailto: links. Clicking these opens your phone or email application — this action is handled entirely by your device and we do not collect, receive, or store any data as a result of clicking these links.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we rely on Legitimate Interests (Article 6(1)(f)) as the legal basis for processing the anonymised analytics data described above. Our legitimate interest is understanding how our website is used in order to improve it.

Given that the data collected is fully anonymised and cannot be linked back to any individual, we consider this processing to have minimal privacy impact.
